Greg,

Thank you for your kind reply to my comment. It's so true that our lives and Soul growth move in seasons and not on a linear path. I'm learning to make peace with my Soul's growth entering a dark winter along the way. Your words give me hope. And hope is precious to us all when we are going through a "dark night of the Soul". You are right, spring is beginning to creep in and bring new life and light to my personal experience of growth and transformation.

Namaste and Blessings,
Mia

Mia - your powerful insights about healing reveal that you are on the path - yet it is a path that is anything but straight. Our lives, our souls, move in seasons rather than minutes - so, I hope that you will wake up soon and be surprised to feel that the warmth of spring has crept in and caught you unawares...
Dear Musa,

I am always in awe to see you so passionately keeping Hasan's work and loving presence alive in the world. It is truly a testiment to the love of your father and the deep connection to our immortal Soul that he so demonstrated and remains forever alive in your heart. In the hearts of all who knew him and have come to know him through you. I can say that because Hasan's work has touched my life deeply and I am forever grateful.

Dear Greg,

I am deeply touched by your willingness to share your feelings about the drowning of the young man from your church. It takes great courage to dare to be human when so many are expecting a spiritual answer to quickly relieve our pain. The truth is that we cannot heal what we are unwilling to feel. Right now I am going through a difficult time in my own life after dealing with a workplace bully for many months. You remind me that my healing will come as I take all of my sadness and fear to God and allow myself to be loved not in spite of them but because of them.

Much love and blessings to you both!

Namaste,
Mia

Wonderfully written and good to ponder, as I often have. The ego-reflex to evaluate nearly every occurrence in one's unfolding incarnation seems almost funny at times, if observed closely. Tho not the point here, I've noticed the "messenger" nature of all phenomena appearing in "outer" life & world, & this has usually been so clear, that the "outer" world, including my mind-function, seems more of an ever-moving hologram, feigning a separate "me" in "materiality" & "time"; & posturing as "good" or "bad", and reflecting whatever is thought to be reality.
So, all "outer" events and "circumstance", small or "large", is quite beyond the reach of human-mind assessments/evaluations. As this piece well illustrates with examples from east & west. Even if the broken leg didn't result in exemption from war, it seems that all is occurs in time/space must be "just right" merely due to its appearance...tho it may look right/wrong. Perhaps the 3D feedback-mirror called "incarnate life" is neither as gruesome or wonderful as it appears. It all (our times) seems like the outpicturing of the final throes of egoic, polarized mis-perceptions & the naturalally resulting (no-blame) manifestations of separation/fear/survival lenses. Held in place by what, for how long and why, I don't know! But it all feels like the Titanic as the music still played & denial persisted...not just in the obvious "outer" life, but the collective inner "disconnect" that created it--seems humanity about due for a dramatic shift out of false identity! Already well underway, thanks to writers & see-ers like yourselves. And the That that lives us all.
